CubaLove Privacy Policy

CubaLove is a dating and communication service for adults, operated from Florida, United States. Privacy questions and requests may be sent to cubaloveapp@gmail.com.

1. Data we process

We process the information needed to create and operate your account: name, email address, optional phone number, date of birth and age, gender, relationship preferences, interests, biography, job, company, school and other profile details.

We process the photos and videos you choose for your profile, messages and reactions, voice messages, GIF selections, call metadata and other content you decide to share. Audio and video calls are transmitted in real time and are not routinely recorded by CubaLove.

With your foreground permission, we process your current location or a location you enter manually to show nearby people and calculate distance. We also process account and device identifiers, push tokens, online/read status, app interactions, diagnostics and purchase or entitlement records.

2. Why we process it

We use this data to provide profiles, discovery, matching, chat, calls, notifications, purchases, moderation, safety, fraud prevention, customer support, diagnostics and service improvement. Profile-photo checks are limited to registration and profile management; rejected photos are not published as profile photos. Chat attachments are not subjected to the profile-photo face rule.

3. Advertising and consent

CubaLove may display Google ads. Depending on your consent and device settings, Google and its consent platform may process IP-derived coarse location, device or advertising identifiers, ad interactions and diagnostic data for advertising, measurement, analytics and fraud prevention. On iOS, tracking that requires permission is requested through App Tracking Transparency. You can reopen privacy choices from Settings when the consent platform makes that option available.

4. Service providers and sharing

We share only what is necessary with hosting and communications providers, Firebase services used for authentication, notifications and crash diagnostics, Google advertising and consent services, GIPHY for GIF search, Apple or Google for store purchases, and WebRTC infrastructure for calls. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect users and the service. We do not sell profile or chat content.

5. International processing and security

Providers may process data outside your country. CubaLove uses HTTPS and secure WebSockets for app and call signalling, WebRTC encrypts call media in transit, and we use access controls and protected credential storage.

6. Retention and deletion

Account and user content are kept while the account is active and for the time needed to operate the service. You can request deletion in the app under Profile > Settings > Delete account or at cubalove.app/delete-account. After identity verification, the account and associated profile/content are deleted or irreversibly anonymised. Limited purchase, fraud-prevention or legal records may be retained only when required, and deletion-request audit records are kept only as long as reasonably necessary.

7. Your choices and rights

You can edit profile information, choose permissions in system settings, change advertising privacy choices, and request access, correction or deletion by contacting us. You may also have rights to object, restrict processing or lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

8. Adults only

CubaLove is for people aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly allow children to create accounts.
